Biography
Kai Krink has been working as a research assistant at the Institute for Technologies and Management of Digital Transformation at the University of Wuppertal since August 2026. There, he focuses in particular on investigating the role that reinforcement learning can play in solving planning problems.
He received his bachelor’s degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from Maastricht University in 2023. In 2026, he completed his master’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on Data Analytics at the University of Wuppertal. During his master’s program, Kai worked as a research assistant at the TMDT, where he focused in particular on 3D object recognition using LiDAR sensors and on adversarial attacks in the field of autonomous driving.
