Biography
Eva Wallrath is a research associate at the Institute for Technologies and Management of Digital Transformation (TMDT) at the University of Wuppertal. She studied sociology, and her master’s thesis examined the effects of digitalization processes on gender-based inequalities in the workplace.
She is currently working on the TRAIBER.NRW project, where she focuses on the transformation of the automotive supply industry. Her areas of expertise include knowledge transfer and the networking of academia, industry, and regional stakeholders, as well as the design and implementation of academic knowledge transfer initiatives.
Her research focuses in particular on the social and organizational dimensions of technological change processes. A current focus is on micropolitical dynamics in change processes and their influence on the design and implementation of digital transformation.
Previously, she worked on the Competence Center 5G.NRW project. There, she addressed the challenges and framework conditions of mobile network expansion in North Rhine-Westphalia and supported the scientific monitoring, evaluation, and design of expansion processes.
