The NTA Guide: Ensuring Fair Compensation for Disadvantages
The goal of the NTA Guide project is to develop a digital guide that supports professionals and people with disabilities in ensuring legal certainty and tailoring fair compensation for disadvantages in education, employment, and examinations. With the help of an AI-powered assistance feature and a systematically structured knowledge base, information on disabilities, appropriate accommodations, legal frameworks, and practical implementation options is presented in a way that makes it quickly accessible in everyday life. This is intended to make decisions more transparent, traceable, and consistent nationwide.
The core of the project is the development of a quality-assured knowledge base that incorporates insights from vocational training centers, professional associations, assessment bodies, and advisory services. This content is made accessible through specialized chatbots and other interactive features. Professionals can seek advice on specific cases, receive recommendations for appropriate accommodations, and access templates for applications, expert opinions, or official notices. People with disabilities should also be able to inform themselves about their rights and available support services.
The NTA-Lotse is being developed by a nationwide consortium of vocational training centers and academic partners. Accessibility, data protection, ethics, and sustainability are being considered from the outset so that the system can be established as a reliable infrastructure for inclusive vocational training in the long term.
