DeFenSIO: Securing the Information and Communication Structures of Aid Organizations through Capacity Building
The aim of the project is to increase the resilience of critical infrastructures in the health sector, using the example of the Malteser, and to create a sustainable security culture by
- developing a holistic information security concept that integrates technical, organizational and human resource development measures,
- the development of target-group-specific training measures to increase awareness of cyber threats (preventive) and qualification in dealing with potential threats, and
- the optimization of communication processes in the event of acute threats, both for prevention and for effective detection and response.
The TMDT focuses in particular on the user perspective of information security. It accompanies the project scientifically and concentrates on the development, testing and evaluation of qualifying and informing target group-specific measures to increase awareness for information security (ISA).
