Biography
Eva Wallrath joined the Institute for Technologies and Management of Digital Transformation at the University of Wuppertal in April 2022 as a research associate. Here, she supports the districts and independent cities of North Rhine-Westphalia in the rollout of a nationwide 5G mobile network. She facilitates dialog between the relevant partners from business, science, politics and local government in order to identify opportunities and challenges in infrastructure expansion. The research focuses on the processes and cooperative relationships between the involved stakeholders that are relevant for the roll-out.
After completing her bachelor's degree in educational science with a focus on sociology, psychology and empirical educational research, Eva Wallrath studied sociology and examined the effects of digitization processes on gender inequalities in the employment system in her master's thesis.
