Biography
Adwait Chandorkar has been a research associate at the Institute for Technologies and Management of Digital Transformation at the University of Wuppertal since April 2023. In his research, Mr. Adwait Chandorkar deals with Explainable AI (XAI) for self-driving cars. The focus is on building XAI systems for continuous model development, which reduces perceptual conflicts, ultimately leading to robust decision making.
Mr. Adwait Chandorkar completed his Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai and worked as an IT professional in India for four years. In 2017, he started his master studies in Computer Engineering at the University of Paderborn. In his master's thesis, he worked on the compression of 3D object recognition models by modifying the feature extraction layers to reduce the size of the model without affecting its performance.
