Biography
Andreas Burgdorf joined the Institute for Technologies and Management of Digital Transformation at the University of Wuppertal in September 2019 as a research associate and doctoral student.
His research focuses on data analysis, machine learning, and industrial natural language processing, as well as on the topics of anonymization and monitoring sleep using mobile sensor technology.
Mr. Burgdorf studied computer science with the application subject medicine at RWTH Aachen University. There, he was a research associate at the Cybernetics Lab IMA & IfU from October 2016 to August 2019, where he conducted various research and development projects on the use of machine learning and natural language processing in the fields of logistics, telecommunications, and manufacturing.
